2023 EFCU Annual Meeting

Please join us for the sixty-third Annual Meeting of EFCU on April 15, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. The location will be at the Boys & Girls Club of Elko, 782 Country Club Drive Elko, NV.
 
We’ll review the year and celebrate the special occasion with coffee, juice and donuts, plus prizes and giveaways just for you. 
 

ELECTION OF DIRECTORS 

Election of Directors will be in accordance with EFCU Bylaws. There are three (3) Director Positions open for election in 2023, and three (3) nominations have been provided by the Nominating Committee. There are no nominations accepted from the floor when the number of nominees equals the number of open positions. Therefore, EFCU will not conduct the election by ballot. These positions are for a three (3) year term which will commence upon election to the Board.  

The Nominating Committee consisting of Mike Smales, Mark Wetmore, and Jon Wahrenbrock has nominated three individuals to run for election to the Board of Directors. The nominees have agreed to serve if elected. The nominees are:  

Tom Ballew
Tom is an Elko County native and owner of High Desert Engineering, a local civil engineering and land surveying firm. In addition to his experience in the construction industry, Tom has extensive knowledge of Elko, Elko County and northeastern Nevada and adds his experience as a business owner/operator to the Board. Tom has been a member of the EFCU Board of Directors since 2007.

Bob Collyer
Bob has been an EFCU Board member since 2013. Bob was born and raised in rural northern Idaho. The Collyer’s moved to the Elko area in 1996, where Bob has been employed at Elko Tool and Fastener ever since. In 1999 Bob and wife Gail took over ownership of the company and have grown it into a diverse mine supply business with 13 employees. Bob served 2 terms on the Spring Creek Association Board of Directors and is a Board of Director for Friends for Life.

Amanda Osborne
Amanda has been an EFCU Board member since 2017 and a member of EFCU since 2001. She is currently Elko County Manager and has over 9 years governmental experience in addition to many years of Human Resources experience in both the private and public sectors. Her professional affiliations include Society for Human Resources and International City/County Management Association. She has held several volunteer and board positions with various non-profit organizations in Elko.

No nominations will be accepted from the floor at the Annual Meeting.
